Eat more chocolate and vanilla ice-cream
I love plain chocolate and vanilla ice-cream topped with some crushed Oreo cookies. My man likes a more exciting variety of ice-cream. That’s us in general. We are chocolate and vanilla. He likes coffee black with some sugar. I like cream with a bit of coffee. Scratch that I like tea. We are different but the same. I like him a lot.
Our differences make us beautiful. What makes you different? Have you embraced the differences you see in others? Jesus went to great lengths to bring peace to his creation. He put himself on the line. Unity does not mean sameness. Robots can be the same. Diversity in tastes, flavors, and culture makes us beautiful. I like my man and his bold flavor in ice-creams, and he likes my Nigerian jellof rice.
“For he himself is our peace, who made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross by which he put to death their hostility.” Ephesian 2:14- 16
