What’s your color?

God is light, but his vessels are made of many colors…Andre Crouch

Your excuses for why you can’t serve God was part of His plans. All you need to do is throw your hands up and say …here I am! Then He will start taking glory over your “mess” by turning them around into a “message” It’s really not about you; He has it planned from the foundations of the world (Jer 1:5-7). The earlier you allow yourself to be a useful vessel (unto honor) the better (not for Him this time, but for you).

Start from where you are; you don’t need to be all that. Just …Be- allow the light of God pass through the crack in your mirror; then you will see your real colors come through. Its funny the effect light has when it comes in contact with a broken mirror or glass, broken relationships, jobs, home child, etc. It feels like a disgrace to you; you don’t feel comfortable showing them off to even yourself, so showing it off to the world sounds crazy.

But honey, the challenge that comes with hiding under the rubble right now is that, adds no value at this point, zero! If at all the remaining skills, value, gifts, virtues and so on, starts dissipating and depreciating. On the other hand taking a risk and choosing to stand on the lampstand at this point won’t cost you anymore than you have already paid or suffered, but it sends signal to God, that you are ready to shine not because you’ve got it all figured out, but that God is allowed to take Glory in making an essential oil out of a pressed and crushed “rare” flower.

SO, just allow God through it, the broken mirror has a tendency to become a chandelier or be thrown out as waste. Today, be the salt, be an answered prayer, be the shoulder, be the word, be someone’s world, be the solution, be the voice, be a standard, be the peace, be the joy, be the love, be what he has called you to be… give up your excuse, insufficiencies, and your mess. God is in need of it.

You are a unique color and that is intentional …He made you that way become a blessing!

This is so good!? “Taking a risk and choosing to stand on the lampstand at this point…sends signal to God, that you are ready to shine not because you’ve got it all figured out, but that God is allowed to take Glory…”

Yes! Standing mess and all shows you are ready for the world to see Jesus and not yourself.
